The world becomes a better place when we, as a community, see a need and strive to help fulfill that need. That is exactly what Marsen Furniture Outlet in Roosevelt is trying to do this weekend. They are doing a service project that Marsen is calling “No Child Hungry” and they need the public’s help. The goal is put together 10,000 meals for local Basin children. The store has already purchased the food they just need volunteers to help put the meals together. They will be meeting at the Roosevelt Marsen Store on Friday, October 25th at 6pm. If they get enough help it should only take an hour. Residents that are interested are asked to call ahead at 435-789-1322 so they can have a general head count.
