USU and Evans Family Media are once again combining resources to improve the overall quality of life for residents in the Uintah Basin. The start of that union became the USU’s Marriage and Family program that ran weekly during USU’s semesters with Dr. David Law, teaching ways to strengthen marriages and families. This year the format will expand to include a large variety of lifestyle topics that will aid in the wellbeing and connection of residents to local culture, community, and the environment. The broadcast will now be entitled ‘USU and You’ and will run weekly on Newstalk 104.5 FM and AM 920 KVEL. It will still be facilitated by USU Administrative Assistant of Student Services Latricia Fall and the USU Director of Student Services Bob Peterson, who also happens to be the man behind the vision nine years ago. The first broadcast of USU and You was on October 3rd and featured USU Associate Vice President and Associate Professor of Sociology, Dr. James Taylor, exploring the topic of leadership and how prominent it is in all aspects of our lives.
