The road construction in Roosevelt is heading towards Phase 4 as the milling and paving on the two-lane section on Highway 40 east of the city is coming to a close. The closing out of Phase 3 includes the bridge at Fort Duchesne being complete and the replacement of concrete pavement at the L&L intersection finishing. Phase 4 will be the repaving on Roosevelt’s Main Street from the City Cemetery to 1500 East. The work is mostly being done at night Sunday through Friday from 7pm to 7am and is expected to run through the first week of October. Traffic may be limited to one lane in each direction, both day and night. During work hours, business entrances, driveways, and intersections will be accessible but might have brief interruptions or closures. Noise and rumblings are to be expected. Please slow down and pay close attention to the signs, signals, cones, workers, and equipment in the construction zones.
