Roosevelt City is helping to clear up confusion as some Duchesne County residents have been burning before the open burn window has begun. While Uintah County has already opened their burn window, Duchesne County’s has not yet opened. The open burn window in Duchesne County will begin on October 1st and will go until October 31st. Roosevelt reminds residents that it is illegal to burn in city limits before the open burn.
