If you’re one of the many community members who makes a daily stop at the Uintah Community Center, today will have to be a day you take off. On Tuesday, the Uintah Recreation District announced that the pool would have to be closed due to electrical problems but the hope was that it would be up and running in time for Wednesday’s early morning lap swim. A few hours later, a follow up announcement came that not just the pool needed to be closed, but the entire rec center until further notice. The parts needed to repair the electrical problem have been ordered and it is hoped they will be open as usual on Thursday.
