Cases of Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV) continue to pop up in Utah and other states. On Tuesday, the Utah Department of Agriculture acknowledged that another case has been confirmed in the Uintah Basin, this time in Duchesne County. In that case, a property is quarantined in the Myton area for one horse and one bovine infected. The Utah Department of Agriculture also confirmed that several of the original quarantined properties in Uintah County are now off quarantine while there are still others that remain on quarantine. Other states with new confirmed positive premises include Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Texas.
