Five individuals were involved in an off-road crash in Uintah County on Sunday afternoon. According to the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office, the single-vehicle crash happened in the Jensen area about 2 miles north of Highway 40 in the popular off-road area known locally as Honda Hills at about 1pm on September 1st. “The driver of an older model Chevy Blazer was driving up a hill when the SUV’s tires lost traction and the vehicle began to slide backward. During the slide, the driver turned the steering wheel, causing the Blazer to leave the dirt road and roll once. Four adults inside the vehicle were not wearing seat belts. A young child in the vehicle was restrained with a seat belt,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. One adult was flown to the hospital and is in stable condition with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening. The other occupants were also evaluated at the hospital as a precaution.
