Roosevelt City announced this week that the Secondary Water Project will be kicking off again within the next week. “Last year, a majority of the project was completed, but some work remains to complete the remaining roadways,” shares the announcement. “This year, Johansen Construction will continue the secondary water line down State Street from 1800 South to 1875 South, and then east down 1875 South to 500 East. Once the main line is installed, crews will install service lines and meters along that same stretch. Project personnel will be heading out this week to inform residents of the project, and to coordinate the locations of meters.” Anyone around the project area is asked to keep safety in mind. The project will restrict the flow of traffic, so non-local traffic should use a different route.
