USU-Uintah Basin has named a new Associate Director that will serve both the Roosevelt and Vernal campuses. New Associate Director Cameron Cuch worked as the education director and chief administrative officer at Uintah River Charter High School and has more than 10 years executive leadership experience in the energy sector. He has served on the USU-Uintah Basin Advisory Council and on the University of Utah President’s National Advisory Council. “I’m honored to be a part of Utah’s great land grant institution and serve my Uintah Basin community,” shares Mr. Cuch. “I look forward to continuing USU’s mission of bringing higher education to the Uintah Basin while also looking to expand research opportunities for faculty, as well as internships and hands-on academic experiences for students.” USU-Uintah Basin’s Executive Director James Taylor says that Cuch’s background gives him the right leadership skills that will improve USU-Uintah Basin. “I look forward,” shares Taylor, “to working with Cameron to grow our campus’ reach and to benefit our community.”
