Calling all researchers, writers, and local history buffs! The Uintah County Library Regional History Center wants your submissions for the semi-annually published Outlaw Trail Journal. Ideas for local topics include: outlaws, old west history, prominent people and buildings, and historic events (then and now). The Uintah County Regional History Center is available as a place to do research. Manuscripts should be between 1000 and 3500 words. It focuses on the local history of the greater Uintah Basin, the Intermountain West, and the Outlaw Trail. The deadline for the Outlaw Trail Journal 2025 Summer Issue is April 15th and the deadline for the Winter Issue is September 15th. Submissions are reviewed for quality, fit for the region, and style. Folktales are also welcome!
