Dutch John Experiences Another Mild Earthquake Over Weekend

A similar sized micro earthquake took place again near Dutch John over the weekend, about a month after the last one of this size. According to the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program, the Magnitude 2.7 quake was recorded on January 11th at 3:48pm. The location was pinned about 54 kilometers east of Dutch John and recorded at a depth of 6.3 kilometers. The Earthquake Hazards program website invites reports by those who feel an earthquake. As of Tuesday morning, there were no reports listed from citizen scientists of having felt the Magnitude 2.7 Earthquake on Saturday. If you think you may have, visit www.earthquake.usgs.gov
