Tabiona’s 5th graders are ready to lead the way in setting a good example at school, home, and beyond. The 5th grade students of Mrs. Jones and Ms. Betsy participated in the 2024 D.A.R.E. program and recently had their graduation day. The D.A.R.E. program teaches youth to be empowered, to respect others, and enjoy lives free from violence, substance abuse and other dangerous behaviors. “It was a pleasure to work with each of these students,” shares SRO Kevin Priebe. The best essay for Ms. Jones’ class went to Leyton Hoyt. “There was a lot of great essays that I read,” commented SRO Kevin Priebe. “It was hard to choose just one.” Congratulations to all the 5th grade D.A.R.E. graduates.
