It’s been a bit harder this year to gather the needed donations for the Sub For Seniors program but donations can still be made today. Sub for Seniors provides a holiday gift and food bag for each of the Uintah Basin seniors on their list. The biggest need left is for gift and food items and donations can be dropped off at the Golden Age Center in Vernal. “These seniors are generally isolated, lonely, and unable to provide for themselves,” shares the announcement. “Each year we find our ‘why’ as we are out delivering to these folks. They are so thankful, so happy for company, and so grateful that we remembered them!” Non-perishable food items, gift items, and monetary donations are so appreciated.
