A driver and her passenger were both arrested after being stopped by law enforcement in Duchesne City on Friday. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, driver Carol Jensen and passenger Blake William Hammer each had warrants out for their arrest. Jensen was also found to have a suspended driver’s license and no insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and tin foil with burnt residue was found as well as methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle. Both were transported to the Duchesne County Jail. Hammer is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Possession of Use of a Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia while Jensen is facing Misdemeanor charges related to drugs and driving on a suspended license with no insurance.
