The WHAM! events at the Uintah County Library are off to a great start and there is still time to get involved. WHAM! stands for Writing Hard All Month! and these events are for writers of all ages and skill levels to come in and escape the busy day to write, edit, plot, and meet other writers. They are holding write-ins every Saturday with special guest authors at each write-in on hand to answer writing questions. For those that can’t make it to the Saturday events, write-ins will also be held on Tuesday evenings and will include a mentor author as well all month long. The Uintah County Library has also announced that registration is now open for the Winter Teen Book Bags. Each bag contains a library book, bookmark, review card, a small prize, and a few other fun things. This is open for youth ages 13 to 18. Registration is open until November 16th and please note that those who register cannot have fines that exceed $9.99.
