Uintah County Preliminary Election Results

The election night preliminary results for Uintah County as of early Wednesday morning report the following. Uintah County voters aligned with the preliminary statewide results for the federal and state races, including majority vote for Trump as President, John Curtis as Senator, Mike Kennedy as Congressman for District 3, incumbent Spencer Cox as Governor, Derek Brown as Attorney General, Tina Cannon as State Auditor, and Marlo Oaks as State Treasurer. In the Uintah County Commissioner race, Willis LeFevre received 65.45 percent of the vote while Troy Slaugh received 34.55 percent. In the Uintah School Board District #4 race incumbent Tawnya McKee received 69.2 percent of the vote and incumbent Todd K. Massey received 72.62 percent of the vote for District #5. Uintah County voted to retain all the court office positions on the ballot, voted FOR Constitutional Amendment B and C, and FOR Proposition 12 which repeals a new 0.3 percent increase in County option sales tax.
