New and gently used coats will be available for free at the Vernal Rotary Winter Coat and Hoodie Drive next week for those needing some help staying warm this winter “The need for coats in our community is greatly underestimated. Many people simply go without,” shares Rotarian Cheri McCurdy. “The Vernal Rotary Club recognized this need and has been overseeing an annual coat drive for 16 years. We realized the need to add hoodies to the drive as many teenagers do not have lockers to store coats and like the idea of wearing a hoodie. We also see this need for coats in the adult community.” There will be coats for all sizes and all ages on Tuesday, November 5th, at the Uintah County Library from 3 to 6pm. All are welcome!
