Inmate Receives New Charges For Violation Of Protective Order

A Uintah County Jail inmate is facing a new list of charges for the same crime. Court documents show that 39-year-old Kashon Grow has a history of violating active protective orders. Grow pleaded Guilty of 3rd Degree Felony Violation of a Protective Order and No Contest to Tampering with a Witness on August 27th, 2024. While behind bars he was charged again with multiple counts of 3rd Degree Felony Violation of a Protective Order which he entered a Guilty Plea on September 26th, 2024. Three new charges of 3rd Degree Felony Violation of a Protective Order were filed this week for alleged violations last week for phone calls made while in jail. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Grow had a fellow inmate attempt direct contacts on his behalf as well as a call requesting that one of Grow’s family members make contact with the person listed on the active Protective Order. Grow is being held without bail.
