The Vernal area enjoyed multiple fall family events over the weekend, including a successful Mayor’s Walk on Vernal’s Main Street and the Jensen Pumpkin Festival. The Uintah County Library has a fun activity planned for Halloween night. Come dressed up and drop into the library between 7 and 8:30pm to check out the book fair and take a break to read a book. Candy will be provided and the public is invited. For those in the Roosevelt area, Roosevelt’s Main Street Halloween Parade is happening on October 31st from 3-5 p.m. on Roosevelt’s historic Main Street. “With the street closed to traffic, you can roam freely, enjoy Halloween-themed music, and join in on fun activities for all ages. Don’t miss the chance to make memories and celebrate in style!” There is also the Pierce Holiday Light Show open seven days a week, starts at dark, and ends at 10pm. Always a hit, the Pierce’s Holiday Light Show located at 3840 North 1000 West in Roosevelt is thrilling visitors nightly through Halloween.
