New drug charges have been added, this time in Duchesne County, to a man with charges still pending in Utah’s 2nd District Court. 27-year-old Jordan Cache Swain is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Possession or Use of a Controlled Substance among other charges with the offense date in Duchesne County listed as October 14th. Swain’s pending charges are from a Morgan County traffic stop that took place on April 29th of this year. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Swain was pulled over for expired plates and it was found that there were weapons and drugs in the vehicle, including methamphetamine. The initial appearance for Jordan Cache Swain was scheduled in 8th District Court for this week. Swain had multiple drug charges from 2023 in Washington County dismissed as well as drug and assault charges from 2021 in Duchesne County dismissed.
