The family left behind after a tragic fatal accident last week is encouraging travelers to
always remember to buckle up. The fatal crash took place near Strawberry Reservoir on
Tuesday, October 1st, that resulted in 35-year-old Norma Jones of Duchesne and her
3-year-old daughter losing their lives. Two juvenile passengers survived the crash but
were flown by helicopter for treatment to an area hospital. A GoFundMe has been set up
to help the family under the name ‘Fredrick Jones and his grieving family’. Fred Jones
has shared with media outlets a message to put on your seatbelt and how grateful they are
that two children survived at least in part thanks to seatbelts.
