According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, officers responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated man who was just generally yelling. Officers responded to the area and passed a man on a moped who could be heard yelling while the vehicles passed. The moped came to a stop in a driveway. Officers asked him if he had been drinking and he said he had and he agreed to perform some field sobriety tests. Before they could begin, the man became aggressive and combative and then fought being arrested. 46-year-old Alonzo Jim was taken into custody and booked into Uintah County Jail after a stop at the hospital for a DUI blood draw. He was booked for DUI, operating a moped while intoxicated, Disorderly Conduct, and Interfering with a Peace Officer.
