Monday was just another day for students in Rock Springs until it wasn’t. On September 9th at approximately 12:07pm, Sweetwater County Combined Communications received a call that a student at Rock Springs High School had a weapon. Rock Spring Police Officers were quickly dispatched and began an investigation. Thankfully, their investigation determined that the weapon was a BB Gun. Roosevelt PD issued a press release to the public by about 1:30pm stating that “there is no immediate threat to students or staff at Rock Springs High School.”
