Work continues in downtown Vernal with two construction projects currently underway as part of the revitalization efforts. Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion shares that the Cobblerock Block project is advancing and access behind the buildings is fenced off. The waterline replacement is under construction. The new public parking lot at 100 East and 100 South will be finished by mid-September and ready for use. Vernal Avenue reconstruction is also underway. Bennion explains that concrete curbing is the next phase of the project. All are asked to be aware of traffic cones and lane shifts in the area.
