Uintah Basin Healthcare’s 80th Anniversary parties wrap up today. On August 14th, 1944, Uintah Basin Healthcare opened their doors to serve the Uintah Basin. The celebrations kicked off on Wednesday in Roosevelt at Constitution Park. Around 1500 people attended the celebration, enjoying a meal and “splash bash” activities. Another huge crowd turned out on Saturday at the Colton Pavilion in Vernal to celebrate. There was live music and good food for all. Today is the final celebration, this time in Duchesne City at the city pool and park. Food and prizes will be from 5:30 to 7pm and there will be free swimming from 6 to 9pm.
