Probation Check Reveals Methamphetamine Resulting In Arrest

A probation check in Uintah County resulted in arrest in Uintah County on July 12th. 45-year-old Jason Ray Mayfield was arrested after drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine were located in his residence. Upon further search of the residence, a black container was found that contained 32 grams of methamphetamine, and multiple containers of marijuana. A backpack contained several knives varying in size and an Altoid mint container with more methamphetamine. Multiple pipes and syringes were also located in the residence. Due to the amount of methamphetamine found, Mayfield was booked into the Uintah County Jail on a count of Possession with Intent to Distribute, as well as other drug and weapons charges.
