Red Flag Warnings were in effect over the weekend with hot temperatures, low relative humidity and gusty outflow winds. The critical fire weather means all are urged to use extreme caution with all things that can spark a wildfire, including fireworks, exploding targets, discarded cigarettes, dragging chains, and campfires. While the Red Flag Warning is no longer in full effect, temperatures will remain above normal and fire sense is still required. Safety while outdoors should also remain a priority. Drink plenty of water. Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day. Never leave kids or pets in vehicles and wear light clothing.
