26-Year-Old Killed in Moffat County Highway 40 Crash

Authorities have released the name of the man who died in a single vehicle accident on Highway 40 early Saturday morning. A 26-year-old man died in the wreck on Highway 40 in Moffat County. Colorado State Patrol shared with Steamboat Pilot & Today that the driver died at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle as it went off the road and into a ditch. The Moffat County Coroner’s Office identified the driver on Sunday as Luke A. Stark of Orem, Utah. The report also states that the investigation indicates the wreck occurred early Saturday at mile marker 93.5 between Craig and Hayden. It was confirmed that Stark was the only one in the Toyota SUV at the time.
