After a 3 decade break, the Colorado Stampede made a return as a ProRodeo event in Grand Junction and local Josh Frost thrilled the crowd with a bull riding win. Frost won the bull riding with an 89-point ride on a bull named ‘Eyes Wide Open’. “He was the last ride of the whole rodeo and won it, and it was amazing to watch,” shared Colorado Stampede CEO Laura Mendel. “It was awesome. It was really exhilarating and the crowd loved it. We had a junior rodeo and the 4H jackpot going on at the same time, and they loved getting to watch their idols compete.” Frost told ProRodeo.com that he was excited to have another PRCA event within a few hours of his home in Randlett and tries to support new rodeos or rodeos coming back to the PRCA.
