A Duchesne County man was arrested over the weekend for an incident on April 13th that escalated with his neighbors. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, an argument between 2 individuals had escalated as a third individual, 66-year-old Linnie Vince Isbell, stepped in. The individual being shoved and confronted by Isbell retreated into his camper. Isbell followed, banging on the camper door while kicking it. When the door opened, Isbell entered the residence and began beating the man in the head and forcefully took away the rifle that the man was holding. Deputies determined that Isbell had no lawful reason to enter the residence, assault and then deprive the man of his weapon. Isbell was arrested on the offenses of Aggravated Assault, Robbery, and Burglary of a Dwelling. So what exactly was the original fight about? Well, after interviewing all parties, deputies determined that the argument had ensued over the whereabouts of a garden rake and things just escalated from there.
