Lose Yourself Run/Walk to Benefit American Heroes Project

One local family has found the ultimate way to combine fall fun with loving service and a dose of health and wellbeing. The Lose Yourself Run/Walk has a six year history and started with Mark and Lori Monsen wanting to find a way to give back to the community. The first race was held in 2011 and that and every year since has donated the proceeds to a local family in need. One year was for a little boy with a kidney transplant and another was an education fund for a one-year-old who lost his dad in an accident. This year the tradition continues and the American Heroes Project will be the beneficiaries. The race, being held
September 23rd
, is unlike any other in the Basin with stretches actually running through portions of the Bluebell corn maze. To register for this year’s Lose Yourself Walk/Run, visit
