Naples Police have provided an update on the condition of the victims in a shooting that
took place at a residence in Naples on February 28th. 28-year-old Mara Ashley Anderson
was arrested and is facing charges of Attempted Aggravated Murder in the incident in
which her 35-year-old brother and a 28-year-old female were shot. The latest press
release states that “the individuals affected in this incident are currently receiving medical
attention and have shown encouraging signs of recovery. The female victim, previously
in a critical state, has now been stabilized and is in an improved condition. The male
victim remains in a critical but stable condition, indicating positive progress.” Naples
Police also offered a message for anyone facing domestic violence, encouraging them “to
seek support through local hotlines, shelters, and counseling services. Assistance is
available, including legal aid and victim advocacy, to explore your options. Remember,
you are not alone.”
