The Uintah County Library has received grant funding that will help with some repair projects around the facility. Library Director Sam Passey reported on the grant during Tuesday’s Uintah County Commission meeting stating that it is CLEF funding in the
amount of $10,401 dollars. His suggestion was to use it for some upkeep and repairs like repainting areas of the library that need it. Any Utah library that fulfills the requirements for State Library Certification are eligible for an annual CLEF payment, CLEF standing
for Community Library Enhancement Fund. The Commissioners made their approval and then thanked Passey for his 17 years of service as he is moving on to another career opportunity in Colorado.
