The time has arrived for an epic good time at the Western Park for budding outdoorsmen. The Future Outdoorsman Expo is happening today and tomorrow at the Western Park and while there is plenty for grown outdoorsmen to enjoy, one attraction for youth is expected to be the highlight. The event features a massive fishing pond placed inside the arena that is stocked with hundreds of bluegill fish. The fishing pond is aimed at providing kids 12 and under with the thrilling experience of catching a fish, many for the first time. Part of the fun is that a fish cam will catch all the action and show the young anglers and their catch on a big screen broadcast in the arena and on screens throughout the Western Park. The event is part of the B&D RV show happening this weekend at the Western Park. It is hoped this will turn into an annual event.
