The Uintah County Commission had one main agenda item in addition to the regular
items of business during their Commission meeting on Tuesday afternoon. The item was
a request to vacate a portion of a Class B Road located at 1250 North in Uintah County
on land owned by Christi Jenkins. Disputes about the property were brought forward
during the meeting with lawyers and other representatives present. Commissioner John
Laursen stated that it was with great dissatisfaction that he had to remind those present
that the Commission meeting is not a place for debate and urged them to work it out
before the matter is brought before the Commission at a future meeting. The audio from
the meeting can be accessed on the Public Notice Website at pmn.utah.gov.
