The SNOTEL snowpack data as of February 8th reports that the Basin Index of the Northeastern Uintahs as a whole is 111 percent and the Duchesne River Basin Index is 121 percent. The current storm has brought a lot of snow to the area mountains and is anticipated to continue into today. The eastern Utah mountains have received the most snow from the current storm so far with 15 to 22 inches of new snow at select SNOTEL sites. Atmospheric river moisture has moved east but plenty remains behind for more snow anticipated in the next 24 to 48 hours.
