A Duchesne County man is behind bars after intentionally driving a tractor into a cabin in Fruitland while intoxicated. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, officers were dispatched to a Shots Fired call in Fruitland and upon arrival found a green John Deer tractor parked in the driveway in front of a cabin that had a large hole in the side of it that appeared to have been from the tractor’s bucket. The officer located the suspect, 47-year-old Jason Curtis Blair, and when asked, Blair stated he drove the tractor there but denied having a gun and no gun was found on his person at that time. On the tractor was empty Budweiser beer cans and an open Vodka container that was nearly full. Those that were in the residence told officers that Blair had drove the tractor to the cabin, shots were fired as he approached, and then he parked. He told those inside the cabin to get out and he went in and sat down, allegedly with a revolver in his hands. When he left the residence he got on the tractor and rammed the building like he was going to push it over. Blair was arrested on the offenses of Aggravated Assault, Driving on a Denied License, Open Container and Drinking Alcohol in a Vehicle, and Intoxication.
