Thursday marked the beginning of new service at the Vernal Regional Airport. Members
of the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce and local officials were there bright and early
to send off Contour Airlines’ inaugural flight out of Vernal. Contour is partnered with
American Airlines with service to and from Phoenix, Arizona. Both flights on Thursday
were full and it is believed there will be positive utilization of the service. The Vernal
Chamber performed a ribbon cutting to welcome and recognize Contour Airlines. To
