The Ashley National Forest has announced to the public that they are seeking proposals for a concessionaire to provide management of 30 family and group campgrounds and one cabin and bunkhouse complex on the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area and Ashley National Forest. One special use permit will be issued to begin in 2025. “The Ashley National Forest provides a broad range of quality recreational opportunities and experiences for visitors around the world. The concession program represents one means of delivering recreation opportunities to the public and providing business opportunities to those interested in managing recreation sites on the forest.” Prospective applicants can find details at www.fs.usda.gov/ashley or by calling 435-781-5281.
