A woman arrested on a State Wide Warrant has additional charges after asking a child to conceal drugs from the arresting officer. 35-year-old Tahlene Shaw Serawop was pulled over in Uintah County for a traffic violation on December 28th. Serawop was unable to provide the officer with a driver’s license, vehicle registration or proof of insurance. Her identity was confirmed in the state system and showed she had a State Wide Warrant for her arrest out of Duchesne County Justice Court. Serawop was placed under arrest. When asked about the odor of marijuana and when informed that the vehicle would be searched, Serawop told officers that she had given it to a passenger in the car to hold. Officers found that the passenger asked to conceal the marijuana was an 11-year-old child. In addition to the warrant, Serawop was arrested for Felony Endangerment of a Child, among other charges.
