Dinosaur National Monument draws visitors from all over the world and it isn’t solely for the amazing Wall of Bones. The Monument has also grown in popularity for its dark sky so the fact that it is listed on the ‘Top 10 Stargazing Hotspots in the U.S.’ is not a huge surprise. The list shared by online travel publication ‘Mental Floss’ analyzed places that are recognized by the International Dark-Sky Association and considered things like visibility of celestial bodies. Apparently Utah is in and of itself a hotspot as 5 state parks in Utah made the list with Capital Reef National Park, Goosenecks State Park, and Goblin Valley State Park taking the top 3 spots. Dinosaur National Monument is number 7 on the list.
