Representative Blake Moore is eager to share with Utahns the wins within the National Defense Authorization Act report to benefit our state. On Thursday, Moore voted for the FY24 National Defense Authorization Act. “This legislation includes massive wins for Hill [Airforce Base] and our armed forces at large to ensure they have the resources they need to protect our homeland and national security interests and I will continue to collaborate with Utah’s servicemembers on ways we can best support their mission,” shares Moore. The conference report includes key wins which include full funding for the LGM-35A Sentinel program that will bring nearly 4,000 jobs to Utah. This bill also advocates for service members across the nation by raising basic pay by 5.2 percent, the largest pay raise in 20 years. It also allocates $280 million dollars for new schools for military families.
