A special signing ceremony was held on Tuesday at Uintah High School for a Uintah senior whose hard work is paying off with an extraordinary opportunity. Not only has Jacob Knox received admission to the University of Notre Dame but he will be attending on a full academic scholarship. Jacob has an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.999, is the 2023-2024 UHS Sterling Scholar in Business and Marketing, is the president of Upward Bound, the vice president of the Math Club, and a member of the Student Senate, National Honor Society, the Science Club and FBLA. He is currently taking Advanced Placement classes and concurrent enrollment classes at Utah State University. His full four-year scholarship is worth over $200,000 dollars and was awarded through QuestBridge, a national nonprofit that connects exceptional students from economically-disadvantaged areas with leading colleges.
