Local shelters are full to the brim and the message continues to circulate for all to be responsible pet owners and not only fix their pets but commit to their decision to become a pet owner in most circumstances. Of course one of the best things that can also help alleviate the problem is for those with the room in their home and in their heart to become a committed pet owner. One such opportunity is happening this Saturday with an adoption event that will include dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. The CAWS organization will be at Petco in Vernal from 11am to 3pm with all their foster pets that are ready for their forever homes. All CAWS pets are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, health checked and microchipped. You can apply online in advance at CAWS.org or just come in person on Saturday.
