Most people would agree that last winter was especially long and brutal in the Uintah Basin. Roosevelt City Recreation is ready to do their part to make winter more bearable with activities starting up in January. Roosevelt City Dodgeball will be held every Wednesday in January and February at Centennial Elementary. There will be free play at 6pm with ages 10 and up welcome and an adult COED league at 7:30pm. Roosevelt City’s Men’s Basketball League starts January 3rd and will take place on Wednesdays at the Roosevelt Junior High south gym. Registration closes on December 22nd. Boys Junior Jazz High School League also kicks off in January with games held Mondays and Tuesdays at Roosevelt Junior High. The registration deadline is December 27th.
