Maybe you haven’t heard. There’s another paranormal show with a strong connection to the Uintah Basin. The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce enjoyed hearing from local Russell Acord at their recent Chamber luncheon. Acord is one of the main researchers in front of the camera on the Discovery+ hit series ‘Expedition Bigfoot’ and he had some great stories to tell. He got his start writing a fictional book in 2007 called ‘Footprints of a Legend’ which took off and entered his name in the ring of the Bigfoot realm. ‘Expedition Bigfoot’ has proved to be a hit with viewers as Acord and the team of researchers have dived into the stories, evidence or lack of, and legends of Bigfoot. Acord shared that there have been some intense times while filming, including a time they were being followed by a pack of wolves while on location filming in Alaska.
