Identities Released On Fatal Highway 40 Crash

Utah Highway Patrol has released the identities of two individuals killed in a 2 vehicle crash that took place on Friday, November 24th, at approximately 4:39pm on Highway 40. According to the UHP report, a gray Dodge Ram was traveling eastbound on SR-40 near milepost 47. “The roads were slick and icy. It appears the truck driver was traveling too fast for the conditions and lost control crossing into westbound lanes. A black Honda Accord occupied by a male driver and female passenger were traveling westbound and impacted the truck. The male driver of the Accord was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The male driver of the Ram, 37-year-old Poul Larsen of Duchesne, was deceased on the scene, as was the female passenger of the Accord, 21-year-old Kelsie Remington of Saratoga Springs.
