The 2023 election is one week away and ballots should have already arrived in mailboxes throughout the Uintah Basin. The Duchesne County Elections Office shared their election statistics as of Monday, November 13th, on their website. Out of 3,681 voters in the election, 702 ballots have been returned to the County, 509 have been accepted, and 10 have been challenged. About half of those were returned by the mail and half were delivered to a dropbox. The Municipal General Election will officially be held on Tuesday, November 21st but early voting is happening through November 17th in the County Administration Building in Duchesne. Uintah County Early Vote also runs through the 17th and can be done in the Clerk/Auditor’s Office during normal business hours. Remember, only those living within City or a District’s limits where there is a vote will receive a ballot.
