The 2017 Trees for Charity event is coming up and while the tree spots filled up quickly, there is still the chance to apply for silent auction spots during the event. According to Trees for Charity Committee Chairman Josh Harbison, 40 different charities will be represented by 40 different trees and while they have received several applications for silent auction items, they would love to see more. Trees for Charity will be held once again in the Uintah Conference Center with the tree-view being held Friday and Saturday, November 24th and 25th, as part of the Holly Days celebration. The auction and gala is scheduled for November 27th. “I’m so excited for this year’s event,” shares Harbison. “This is my favorite holiday tradition and I love that it starts off the Christmas season by giving something back to our community.” Applications for silent auction items as well as tickets for the gala event are available at the Vernal Chamber of Commerce office.
