In a growing tradition all over the country fall is kicked off in a unique way: with witches paddling on lakes. Red Canyon Lodge is making sure that northeastern Utah does not miss out on the fun and is hosting a Witch Paddlefest this weekend and all are invited. Dress up in costumes, bring your family, friends, and pets and come. Get creative and decorate your water craft which can be anything you can paddle. Life jackets are mandatory. There will be a giant witch caldron and the witch dance from Youtube so bring your brooms. Ashley National Forest has granted special permission to open Greens Lake Campground for free overnight camping. Water is turned off but restrooms are open. There are plenty of large campsites that can easily fit multiple campers and tents in one site. Come spend the whole weekend and make it an annual event for your family and friends. Find Red Canyon Lodge on Facebook and get registered ahead of time or just show up Saturday, October 7th from 2pm until dark. Cost is $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
